StockChat WA is a WhatsApp assistant for Shopify stores. It answers customers with real-time product availability, prices, photos and product links from the merchant's Shopify catalog, and can hand off to a human at any time.

1. Install on Shopify
The merchant installs StockChat WA and grants read-only access to products and inventory (read_products, read_inventory).
2. Connect WhatsApp
The merchant connects their WhatsApp Business number through the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API.
3. Customers ask, StockChat answers
When a customer writes, StockChat WA looks up the catalog in real time and replies with availability, price, photo and a product link.
4. Human handoff
If the customer needs a person, the conversation is handed off to the merchant's team.
Data and privacy
To provide the service, StockChat WA processes:
- The customer's WhatsApp phone number and the content of messages exchanged with the store.
- The merchant's Shopify product and inventory data (read-only scopes
read_productsandread_inventory). - Conversation logs, stored to provide the service to the merchant.
We do not sell data. The service is hosted on Fly.io and uses the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API and the Shopify Admin API. Read our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and data deletion instructions.
